Terms of Service
The contractual terms for using ThankQR as a host, guest, or site visitor.
REVISED / 27 March 2026These Terms govern your use of ThankQR. By creating an account, joining an event, uploading media, or using the site, you agree to these terms.
If you use ThankQR for a business or on behalf of a client, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business or client to these Terms.
Using the service
Hosts are responsible for event setup, invite distribution, moderation choices, and the content they upload or approve. Guests are responsible for content they upload, comments they leave, and any reports they submit.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials or verification access under your control.
Acceptable use
You may not use ThankQR to upload unlawful, abusive, defamatory, hateful, sexually exploitative, misleading, or privacy-invasive content, or to interfere with the service or other users.
You may not scrape private event content, circumvent access controls, create fake accounts, abuse invite links, or submit fraudulent payments or chargebacks.
Media, moderation, and face-powered features
You keep responsibility for content you upload. By uploading it to ThankQR, you grant us the rights needed to host, process, optimize, display, and moderate that content within the service.
Face-processing and Find Me features are provided only to operate event-photo grouping and guest match results. Hosts and guests must use those features lawfully and with appropriate notice to attendees where required.
Guests can report harmful photos. Hosts and admins may review, hide, remove, or investigate content to protect users, enforce these Terms, or comply with legal obligations.
Payments and subscriptions
Paid plans, package limits, renewals, and extensions are described in-product at checkout. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider, and you are responsible for charges associated with the plan or package you choose.
We may suspend paid access, limit new usage, or cancel service for unpaid balances, payment fraud, or repeated abuse.
Account suspension and deletion
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create security risk, abuse the platform, or require legal intervention.
Hosts and guest-account users can request account deletion from authenticated settings flows. Deletion requests immediately deactivate the account and block further access while delayed purge or anonymization runs.
Availability and warranties
ThankQR is provided on an as-available basis. We aim for reliable operation, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, perfect media processing, or error-free delivery in every environment.
To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ThankQR is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for a claim relating to the paid service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the relevant plan or package in the preceding twelve months.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to enquiries@thank-qr.com.
